A new approach to Senior Living
British Columbia Seniors Living Association was formed 14 years ago by a group of industry leaders that believed there was a need for representation for the Independent Retirement Communities in BC. In 2006 with the creation of the Assisted Living Registry, the Assisted Living Communities became part of BCSLA.
The Senior Living Industry is continually evolving and the needs and desires of seniors within BC BCSLA provides leadership, education and networking opportunities for all members who are committed to innovation, resident choice and excellence.
As the face of BC Seniors continues to evolve, we have a unique and rewarding opportunity to listen and respond to the seniors who we serve! BCSLA works together with Independent and Assisted Living providers to form and strengthen vital resident-responsive communities that foster independence and freedom of choice for seniors with a proactive approach to health and wellness.
BC Seniors Living Association represents 175 independent and assisted living retirement communities in BC. These retirement communities provide accommodation, hospitality services, recreation activities and outings, social interaction and assistance with daily living (if applicable). Seniors living in our communities are independent and able to direct their care.
